The Gardenista Spot Hose Holders are installed using a hanger bolt system, creating a clean, minimal look with no visible hardware.

This guide outlines the correct installation method for different wall types to help achieve a secure, long-lasting result.

Understanding the Hanger Bolt

The hanger bolt has two distinct ends:

This dual-thread system allows the holder to be securely mounted while maintaining a concealed fixing.

Mark the mounting position carefully.
Use a masonry drill bit to create a hole for a suitable wall anchor.
Insert the wall anchor flush with the wall surface.
Drive the pointed wood-thread end of the hanger bolt into the anchor until secure.
Screw the Spot holder onto the exposed machine-thread end until it sits flush with the wall.

Where possible, locate and install into a wall stud. For this method, follow the wood installation instructions above.
If installing into hollow drywall, select a high-quality hollow wall anchor rated for the intended load.
Install the anchor according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Insert the hanger bolt into the anchor, then attach the Spot holder as described above.

Avoid overtightening: excessive force may damage the Spot holder or wall surface.
Check wall condition: ensure the mounting surface is solid and not cracked or compromised.
Align carefully: install straight to achieve a clean, architectural finish.

Periodically check the Spot holder for firmness.
If any movement is detected, re-tighten gently.
To remove, unscrew the Spot holder counterclockwise and withdraw the hanger bolt with care.
